Just another site

About Me :)

I’m a single mom of twins – Alex and Katie. They are 9 and are the loves of my life. Alex has autism and although he can’t talk, his smile lights up a room. He communicates by pulling me towards anything to do with food, jumping on my bed, giving me high fives, screaming and yelling and laughing his butt off for what seems like no good reason… Every day is a new adventure. Katie is my little comedian. The stuff that comes out of her mouth makes me burst out laughing sometimes. She’s a non-stop talker and a very good helper to me and her brother.  They are awesome kids and we have built a good little life. We have our days, of course, but as a family, we are trying to keep a positive attitude 🙂  I hope that people that find this blog will find a smile or a story that helps them realize they are not alone.  I have to say, this is my first attempt at a blog, so just like in life, I will most likely make mistakes. I’m looking for advice on both – life and  blogging about it,  so please feel free to share!!

  1. Thanks for putting up your site! My wife and I have twins on the spectrum and we started a blog ( – I think partially for our sanity but also, to help raise awareness and connect with other friends who are in the same situation. Cheering you on!
